It’s called “comfort zone”, you don’t leave it because you’re not willing to spend the energy required to break the inertia. A few things add up to make it like that and most of them are about your own unwillingness to go out and meet some new folks during the off periods, so chances are you’ll break free if you do that. Probably is because of the sex. Anyway, not every relationship has to conform to the fairy tale model, specially nowadays. While I would be concerned about the "no respect" part, the rest of it could be a healthy very independent relationship between two adults (opposing to the common codependent relationship that seems "fine" but is not). Take a cold look at you, your partner and the relationship. In the bottom line, is it good or is it bad? Are there a real lack of respect or is it only respect of your mutual independence? If after a deep thought you still think you have to end it, do it.

Thank you guys and girls (not everyone, but someone); I just did realize that this is an on/off relationship two days ago, before that I "thought" (I'm sure he thinks the same way) it's a kind of romantic shit, because we came back together everytime. It's a slowly process from a nice relationship to an on/off relationship. We live together, I'm broke as fuck because I just started a new job and the rent in my town is pretty expensive.
